Disciplinary Action


Some of the acts as given hereinafter are strictly prohibited. A student may be subject to disciplinary action if he or she commits the following acts:

  • Use or distribution of alcoholic beverage, illegal drugs and tobacco in any quantity in the school premises.
  • Bullying, threatening harassing or intimidating and thus frightening any students in the school
  • Showing disruptive behaviour and violating the rules and regulations of the school.
  • Forming any gang or engaging in any gang activity, writing vulgar words or sentences, painting, marking such gang related graffiti, messages, symbols, signs or any other kinds of writing on school property.
  • Depicting messages that are lewd, vulgar, obscene, sexually suggestive or plainly offensive.
  • Bringing books, magazines and pictures that are vulgar, obscene, proscribed and sexually explicit items.
  • Inviting or calling an unauthorized person who does not have any purpose or business to pursue at the school or whose manner may disturb the normal educational function of the school.
  • Damaging, smashing, breaking or spoiling the school property.
  • Showing or engaging in undisciplined activities or any other activities that pose a threat or danger to the safety of other students, staff and school property.
  • Leaving school ground regularly without permission, regular unexcused lateness in classes or on school days, unexcused absence or truancy from classes or school.
  • Refusing to obey school transportation regulations, causing any damage to the bus by negligence and vandalism, shrieking, shouting and using abusive or vulgar language inside the bus.
  • Writing, drawing, scrawling, marking, disfiguring or damaging the library books.
  • Academic dishonesty such as using unfair means in the exams, forging teachers’, parents’ or guardians’ signature.
  • CONSEQUENCES

  • If any student breaks, smashes or damages the school property, he/she shall have to compensate for the loss.
  • If any student shows or engages in undisciplined activities or any other activities that pose a threat or danger to the safety of other students, staff and school property, he/she shall be suspended either for short or long term, or expelled from the school judging as per the severity of the case.
